Ensemble Reza Exclusive Friends Concert

We are looking forward to our exclusive Friends Concert in September. This is an opportunity to celebrate the support of our Friends in the beautiful surroundings of Holmsted Manor in Cuckfield.  Our Friends will be treated to an evening of music, tasty canapés, and an opportunity to meet and talk to our musicians.  This concert will also include special guest, clarinetist and conductor of our Community Orchestra Steve Dummer.

What a great evening again! You give us all such a wonderful Friends do, in fact the best Friends event of any I know. I loved every moment of it and what a lot of laughs!
— Ann Turrall

We are very grateful to our Friends group. There are now over 70 members who are part of this scheme, without their financial support each year we could not continue to run our diverse programme including our concert series (free lunchtime concerts, family and evening concerts), workshops in mainstream and special educational needs schools and our community orchestra for over 80 musicians of all ages and abilities from 4-82 years!

This was an exceptional performance worthy of the Royal Albert Hall. All pupils actively engaged with the narration and music. The sheer joy on their faces was a delight to see. The musicians involved were incredible and included our pupils regardless of their disability in the performance. This is an outstanding opportunity for any young person to be a part of.

This orchestra has been my inspiration to play again

It’s a great asset to the town to have a high quality recital series easily accessible and in the daytime. A very informal atmosphere, free admission means that nobody need feel excluded by cost. Children are made very welcome too!
